Poe Shaping Up in Offseason

The Ravens mascot, Poe, will look much different in 2015.

Poe is undergoing a physical transformation to get healthier and stronger for the upcoming season. The offseason makeover works in conjunction with the NFL's Play 60 initiatives to encourage kids to be physically active for 60 minutes each day, and the Ravens commitment to improving, encouraging and enabling the healthy development of youth in the Baltimore area.

"We encourage our fans and kids to eat healthy and lead active lifestyles, yet Poe was setting a bad example," Ravens Vice President of Marketing Brad Downs said. "We challenged Poe this offseason to practice what he was coaching and get fit."

Fans can get their first look at the revamped Poe at the open practice at M&T Bank Stadium on Aug. 3.

"We're excited about his progress and can't wait for our fans to see him and the example he is setting," Downs said.
