Transcripts: Friday Availability: Week 9 vs. New England

Head Coach John Harbaugh

It seems like every week, K Justin Tucker gets another award. He got Player of the Month. (Jamison Hensley) _"It does seem like that every week. We're running out of game balls for this guy. _(laughter)You're only allotted so many for the year." (laughter) (Reporter: "You've been around a lot of different combinations, as far as snapper, holder. What impresses you the most about their kind of precision and everything that goes into that?") "Well, just that – the precision, and a lot goes into that in the sense of there are a lot of details. Like anything, as you watch from the outside, you don't realize how much goes into anything, right? And so much more goes into that than probably most people would think, and those guys, they work at it every single day. And they're mad when they make kicks. They're mad sometimes when they split the uprights, because they know what wasn't exactly right that they need to do better. That's what I appreciate about them. It's just a relentless attention to detail in what they do."

How has WR Marquise Brown progressed this week? We didn't see him out there today. Was that part of the plan, kind of like earlier in the season? _(Luke Jones) _"Yes, we're just managing that. There's a certain number of reps that we're working through right now with him. So, I do expect him to be out there on Sunday unless something unforeseen happens. You can never be sure, but we'll see how it goes."

How is CB Jimmy Smith coming along, just in knocking off the rust and how he's moving? (Jeff Zrebiec) "He moved well. Jimmy [Smith] and I just talked out there at the end of practice. He feels good, moved well. He's going to play, if that's what you're asking, and I expect him to play at a high level."

How beneficial is it to have the number of cornerbacks you guys have now, in terms of versatility and ability to do different things? (Jeff Zrebiec) "It's very important to have guys that can cover. If you look at the Patriots' defense, which is having such a great year, they have a bunch of guys that can cover, and it gives them a lot of flexibility with what they want to do. They're probably the best example of it so far."

We saw WR/RS Chris Moore leave the field early in practice. Is there anything you can say as to why that was? (Aaron Kasinitz) "No, not really – just an internal thing, not a big deal, we hope. It's fine."
