Posted Oct 3, 2017

RAVENS 2017 COMMUNITY QUARTERBACK AWARD

Nominations Accepted Through Oct. 31

Through its annual Community Quarterback Award, the Baltimore Ravens have partnered with the National Football League to honor exceptional Maryland volunteers who devote their time to bettering area communities.

Supported by the NFL Foundation and the Ravens Foundation Inc., the award recognizes individuals who exemplify leadership, dedication and commitment to improving the neighborhoods in which they live. Volunteers ages 13 and older, who provide extraordinary service to area nonprofit organizations, are eligible for the 2017 Community Quarterback Award. Charitable organizations are encouraged to nominate their remarkable volunteers, or individuals may nominate themselves.

The award recipients will be acknowledged on Dec. 3 at the Ravens-Lions game at M&T Bank Stadium. Honorees will receive game tickets for themselves and a guest, Ravens apparel and a financial grant benefiting their respective nonprofit organization.

Applications for the 2017 Community Quarterback Award are open and can be completed online at www.baltimoreravens.com/communityQB through Oct. 31. All nominees will be celebrated by the Ravens for their commitment to bettering Maryland communities.

The 2016 Community Quarterback Award winners were:

  • Gina Truesdale (Hammy’s Heart)
  • Jeremy Lichtenstein (Kids In Need Distributors)
