Latino Youth Honors Header

The NFL Latino Youth Honors presented by Procter & Gamble recognizes outstanding high school tackle and flag football athletes from around the country for their academic and athletic excellence. Clubs will be encouraged to identify exemplary Latino high school seniors that participate in their local football programs (flag or tackle). Participating Clubs will select a male and a female student-athlete that will be that Club's representatives. Eight finalist recipients (one per division) will receive a grant award that can be used for college while also getting the opportunity to serve as club representatives at tentpole NFL events.

Eligibility Criteria ✔️

NFL teams are invited to nominate a male and female high school senior football player (flag and tackle) to be considered for this year's program. The selection criteria include:

  • Latino/Hispanic high school senior
  • Flag or tackle football player
  • Be in good academic standing (minimum GPA 3.0)
  • Must demonstrate commitment to his/her community
  • Verifiable football stats (season and career), with designation of tackle or flag

Kiana Lugo

Kianna is a multisport student-athlete who excels in all areas. She is not only successful on the court and on the field, but academically and in the community. As a senior she has already been a captain of multiple athletic teams. She is a 3-sport athlete (girls flag, basketball, and track). Who has won leadership awards from these teams. She was also a part of the division championship Girls Track and Field team at Wheaton High School in 2024.

Anthony Chuman

Anthony Chuman

Anthony is recognized for his 3.4 GPA and football achievements on the field as a three-year varsity starter. He earned WCAC 2nd team all-conference and 2023 state championship finalist, two UA All-American camp invites and was always seen as a leader and mentor to his team.
