NFL Latino Youth Honors

Katherine is an exemplary student-athlete because she leads with integrity, dedication, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of her life. As Class President, she serves as a voice for her peers and consistently demonstrates strong leadership within our school community. She was selected to speak on behalf of Baltimore City Schools through the JROTC program, a reflection of the respect and confidence that leaders and educators have in her abilities. Since joining our JROTC program, which has only been in existence for three years, Katherine has distinguished herself as a dependable and motivated leader. Her hard work and commitment earned her a promotion to Commander of the Summer JROTC Charlie Unit, a position that requires responsibility, discipline, and the ability to lead others. On the athletic field, she approaches every challenge with determination and a team-first attitude. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or in leadership roles, Katherine consistently gives her best effort and inspires those around her to do the same. Her character, work ethic, and service to others make her truly exceptional.

Jose is an extremely dedicated student-athlete. He is a multi-sport athlete, participating in both football and lacrosse. While playing both he has demonstrated responsibility in the classroom maintaining a 3.31 cumulative GPA and as a working man. Jose never misses an off-season workout and continuously pushes himself and his teammates during strength training and conditioning. His dedication to the program consistently makes it enjoyable to coach him. Jose is a coach's dream.
