The NFL world is converging on Indianapolis this week.
Coaches, scouts, prospects and media members will all travel to Lucas Oil Stadium for the NFL's National Scouting Combine, which features more than 300 players competing in front of top decision makers around the league.
"You get a chance to get a feel for [the prospects]," Ravens Director of College Scouting Joe Hortiz said. "Obviously the field workouts are important. It's a level playing field. Everyone is doing the same thing, wearing the same gear, and it gives you a chance to see who the athletic movers are."
Ravens brass will head to this year's Combine with a close eye on the offensive talent. Baltimore needs to inject the unit with playmakers, and this week will be a chance to learn more about the top pass catchers on and off the field.
"It probably needs to be an offensive draft for the Ravens this year," NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said.
