Sam Cohn
Ravens 31, Lions 28: “The offenses will control the flow. After beating Cleveland thanks to some unlikely heroics, expect Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry to steer this one.”
Brian Wacker
Ravens 27, Lions 23: “This will be a test for the Ravens’ secondary after it got torched by the Bills in Week 1. But playing at home at night should help, and it will likely have an impact on Lions quarterback Jared Goff, who hasn’t been as impressive in hostile environments as he has been at home. Expect Lamar Jackson to continue to play at an elite level and Baltimore’s defense to do just enough for the win.”
Josh Tolentino
Ravens 34, Lions 31: “Detroit’s skill players will land their fair share of punches, but Baltimore’s edges in elite quarterback play and prime-time poise tilt a tight one in the Ravens’ favor.”
C.J. Doon
Lions 27, Ravens 24: “As shaky as Jared Goff might be outdoors in a hostile environment, the Lions have a cohesive group and a lot of explosive playmakers to give the ball to.”
Bennett Conlin
Ravens 34, Lions 27: “The Lions’ offense could make this game intriguing, as Detroit has several weapons at wide receiver (Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and others) and running back (Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery) to complement Jared Goff. A developing defense trying to stop Lamar Jackson on the road in prime-time is too tall a task, though.”
Tim Schwartz
Ravens 45, Lions 38: “The Ravens are 6-1 all-time against Detroit, and I expect that to improve to 7-1 after an exciting shootout at M&T Bank Stadium.”

Lions 31, Ravens 27: “The Ravens, especially Lamar Jackson, have been historically good in prime-time games at home. But the first two weeks have introduced doubts to my mind on both sides of the line of scrimmage. An already weak pass rush is losing Nnamdi Madubuike and Kyle Van Noy, their best pass rusher this season and last season, respectively. The interior offensive line play has been underwhelming, and if the guards can’t help the run game get going, it will be an uphill climb for the offense.”
Giana Han
Ravens 42, Lions 35: “The Ravens scored 40 points against a really good Buffalo Bills defense. They scored 41 against a great Cleveland Browns defense. Why not score 42 against a middling Lions defense? Although Detroit might be a step down in quality for the offense, the Ravens’ defense will have a tougher time.”
Chris Korman
Lions 37, Ravens 36: “The Ravens tend to get hyped for big matchups, particularly those in prime time. My guess is that they lead this one coming down the stretch and put every fan in the stadium into a panic as they try to hold on.”
Paul Mancano
Ravens 33, Lions 30: “It’s Baltimore’s offense, which has scored a whopping 74 points in its first two games, that will get the Ravens over .500.”
Jonas Shaffer
Ravens 28, Lions 27: "It's not hard to imagine the Lions having their way on offense, stringing together scoring drive after scoring drive with a stream of 6-yard runs and 12-yard completions. Lamar Jackson should have his way on offense, too, but the Ravens will need some “Monday Night Football” magic to help their banged-up defense. M&T Bank Stadium turns into a cauldron of noise at night, and that atmosphere can be enough to short-circuit drives. The Ravens are 22-3 in prime-time home games under John Harbaugh, and for good reason.”
Childs Walker
Ravens 31, Lions 24: “Bet on Lamar Jackson’s dynamism over Jared Goff’s pocket-bound approach and on a bounce back from the Ravens’ ground game.”
Brandon Weigel
Lions 35, Ravens 31: “The Ravens will be without outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy and defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike, and corners Marlon Humphrey and Nate Wiggins have been dealing with troublesome groin injuries. Baltimore’s pass rush has been fairly lackluster, and with its two biggest threats out, Jared Goff will have the time in the pocket to outduel Lamar Jackson.”

Ravens 30, Lions 27: “The Detroit Lions are intent on making up for the 38-6 defeat they suffered in Baltimore in October 2023. They were motivated last week to explode with their offense to run away from the Bears and former Offensive Coordinator Ben Johnson. The Baltimore Ravens will move the ball better here with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. Detroit will make its share of big plays through ground and air but it won't be enough late.”

Ravens 37, Lions 30: “This will be fun as both teams can score. The Lions scored 52 last week, while the Ravens scored 41. I don't think either will come close to those numbers, but they will get into the 30s. Look for the Ravens at home to win a fun shootout.”

Ravens 41, Lions 31: “Even if Goff goes off, I can't pick against the Ravens. Not only do they have an angry Henry, but they're also 18-2 straight up in their past 20 home prime-time games.”

Ravens 30, Lions 27: “The Ravens destroyed the Lions two years ago in Baltimore. It should be closer this time around, but look for the same outcome."
Chris Simms
Ravens 34, Lions 24: “I think the Ravens match up well with the Lions. I think they’re one of the few teams that can match up with them and feel good, like, ‘Hey, we’re not going to get overpowered in the run game; we do some creative things in the back end that can give the pass game issues.’”
