Ravens Wide Receiver Jeremy Maclin Won't Play vs. Colts

Ravens wide receiver Jeremy Maclin won't play Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts, as his injured knee has not recovered enough.

That leaves just four receivers active, including Mike Wallace, Chris Moore, Breshad Perriman and Michael Campanaro. Moore is expected to get the start, though all three could see increased snaps opposite Wallace.

When talking about Moore this week, Head Coach John Harbaugh said, "I feel like it's time for him to break out." Moore has caught 15 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns this season.

It will be the third game that Maclin misses this season. He was out in Weeks 6 and 7 because of a shoulder injury and has dealt with a variety of injuries throughout the year, contributing to his decreased production of 40 catches for 440 yards and three touchdowns.

The Ravens' most surprising scratch is rookie outside linebacker Tim Williams, who was not on the injury report this week.

With the two open spots, Baltimore has activated running back Terrance West and backup guard/tackle Andrew Donnal.

It's the first time that West, who began the year as the team's starter, will suit up since he injured his calf in Week 5 in Oakland. West missed a month because of the injury, then was a healthy scratch the past five games.

It will be interesting to see how or if West is used along with Alex Collins, Javorius Allen and Danny Woodhead.

The Ravens may have pulled Donnal up because left tackle Ronnie Stanley was dealing with an illness this week that sidelined him for Thursday's practice. Stanley is still active and will start.

The Colts' inactives are wide receiver Donte Moncrief, safety Clayton Geathers, former Ravens cornerback Rashaan Melvin, tight end Jason Vander Laan, guard Mark Glowinski, defensive tackle Caraun Reid and tackle/guard Denzelle Good.
