Reports: Tylan Wallace Signing With Browns

Another Ravens free agent is following a departed coach, as wide receiver Tylan Wallace has reportedly agreed to terms on a deal with the Cleveland Browns.

Wallace will play for former Ravens offensive coordinator and Browns first-year head coach Todd Monken.

Wallace, 26, spent five seasons in Baltimore after the Ravens drafted him in the fourth round in 2021. He has only 22 career receptions, but Wallace was dependable. He caught 11 of 12 targets in a career year in 2024.

Wallace also became a good special teams player and will presumably continue to fill that role in Cleveland.

While he was the least "diva" a wide receiver could be, Wallace had a flair for the dramatic. He owns two of the Ravens' most memorable plays in recent years -- a 76-yard punt return for a touchdown to beat the Los Angeles Rams in overtime in 2023 and a 84-yard catch-and-run touchdown down the same sideline against the rival Cincinnati Bengals in 2024.

General Manager Eric DeCosta expects third-year wide receiver Devontez Walker to have an elevated role in 2026 behind starters Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman. The Ravens also drafted LaJohntay Wester last year, and he took over as the team's punt returner.

Baltimore will likely continue to bolster its wide receiver corps in the draft and perhaps free agency.

Wallace joins tight end Isaiah Likely, punter Jordan Stout, fullback Patrick Ricard, and safety Ar'Darius Washington as Ravens who followed a departed coach. They all went to New York with John Harbaugh. Wallace is the first player to follow Monken to Cleveland.
