Training Camp Is Huge for These 15 Ravens
These players need a strong training camp to secure a role, establish themselves, or get a breakout season rolling.

CB Jaire Alexander
It will be Alexander's first time taking the field as a Raven after the big-time free agent addition joined the team at the end of minicamp. Health is the biggest question for Alexander, and he needs to stay on the field to learn the Ravens' defense and gel with his teammates. If Alexnader is going to have a resurgent season, it starts with a strong camp.

CB Jalyn Armour-Davis
It's a make-or-break season for Armour-Davis as he enters his fourth year. He's talented, but health issues have held Armour-Davis back and put him on the bubble considering the Ravens' cornerback depth. Armour-Davis could improve his chances if he proves he can double as a reserve safety.

OLB Mike Green
The Ravens have a deep outside linebacker room, but Green has enough talent to carve out a significant role as a rookie pass rusher if he has a strong camp. The second-round pick has been impressive so far, but it gets real when the pads come on.

K John Hoyland
The undrafted rookie is competing with Tyler Loop to replace Justin Tucker as Baltimore's kicker. While Loop is the front-runner, it's an open competition that Hoyland could win with consistency and by making kicks in high-pressure simulations and preseason games.

OLB Adisa Isaac
After injuries sidelined him for much of his rookie season, Isaac has an opportunity to take a big step forward during training camp and prove that he deserves some defensive action. The 2024 third-round pick could be a key reserve.

T Emery Jones Jr.
The rookie third-round pick has not practiced yet due to a shoulder (labrum) injury and will start camp on the sideline. Once he makes his practice debut, he'll need to catch up quickly to establish himself as one of the team's top reserves, especially if he's learning multiple positions.

S Sanoussi Kane
The Ravens' safety depth took a hit with Ar'Darius Washington's Achilles injury, opening the door for Kane to be the team's No. 3 safety. He'll have a chance to show coaches and the front office that they don't need to add a veteran free-agent safety.

K Tyler Loop
The kicker competition is the best of camp, and Loop is the favorite as a sixth-round pick. The big-legged kicker has had many good days thus far, but the pressure turns up in training camp and the preseason. Loop needs to rise to the occasion to secure the job.

OLB David Ojabo
It's sink or swim time for Ojabo after three injury-hampered seasons. The gifted second-round pick needs to have a strong training camp to build a solid foundation for making a bigger impact in 2025.

ILB Trenton Simpson
Simpson is aiming to reclaim his starting job next to Roquan Smith. Simpson feels much further ahead from a mental standpoint this offseason, and he'll need to show that he's stronger against the run once the pads come on.

S Malaki Starks
The first-round pick has a lot on his shoulders, considering he's in line to be an instant starter. Starks needs to continue to master the Ravens' defensive system and communication while bonding with his teammates and improving his craft.

CB T.J. Tampa
Tampa is another second-year player looking to prove they're ready for a defensive role. Tampa flashed his skills with multiple interceptions in practice this summer. If he plays with consistency, he could land a key spot behind Marlon Humphrey, Jaire Alexander, and Nate Wiggins.

G Andrew Vorhees
Left guard is the only offensive starting spot up for grabs, and Vorhees is the favorite ahead of Ben Cleveland. After winning the job during last year's training camp, Vorhees had an up-and-down start to the season and lost the gig after suffering an ankle injury. Now Vorhees is looking to prove he's better and ready to handle full-time duties.

WR Devontez Walker
There are a lot of mouths to feed in the Ravens' offense, but Walker has a chance to carve out a role as the No. 4 wide receiver if he can continue the momentum he built in organized team activities and minicamp into training camp.

CB Nate Wiggins
After a superb rookie season, the first-round pick is now in position to establish himself as one of the NFL's premier cornerbacks. The Ravens will lean on Wiggins to be a consistent shutdown cover guy on the outside, and Wiggins set his sights on double-digit takeaways. Breakout seasons often start rolling in training camp.
