401(k) Saving Plan

Pension Plan

  • Service: Provides a monthly benefit which generally begins at age 55. Adopted with the 2020 CBA, benefits were increased to $550 per Credited Season for all seasons prior to 2012 including pre-1993 Legends who had at least three (3) Credited Seasons. The 2020 CBA also increased benefits by 10% for all seasons after 2011.

NFL Medicare Supplement Benefit

  • Service: At age 65 or older, Legends are eligible to receive a monthly subsidy of up to $160 when in enrolling in a Medicare supplement policy available to Former Players through the Aon Retiree Health Exchange. Beginning on January 1, 2026, the monthly subsidy will increase to $200.
