Caw to Action is an annual day of service designed to encourage our fans to volunteer while promoting local nonprofit organizations. Partnered alongside the United Way of Central Maryland, last year we offered over 60 different in-person volunteer opportunities for our Ravens fans across the state of Maryland to come out and volunteer with us. What is Caw to Action?
Caw to Action is the Baltimore Ravens annual day of service that encourages fans and community members to volunteer while supporting local nonprofit organizations. In partnership with the United Way of Central Maryland, the Ravens offer volunteer opportunities throughout Maryland while also encouraging participants to volunteer with organizations in their own local communities.
How do I get involved in Caw to Action?
Getting involved is easy! Register to volunteer for one of the Ravens Caw to Action volunteer opportunities with our nonprofit partners throughout Maryland or make an impact by volunteering with an organization in your own local community. Every act of service, big or small, helps strengthen our communities.
Can I still get involved if I don’t live in Maryland?
Yes! Last year, Caw to Action volunteers participated across 13 states and three different countries. While the Ravens offer Caw to Action volunteer opportunities throughout Maryland, fans everywhere are encouraged to participate by volunteering with a nonprofit organization in their own local community. We encourage fans that don't live in Maryland to find a local Flock Group to volunteer with.
How can I find a flock group?
Ravens Flock Together All Over the World! Avid Ravens fans aren't just representing the purple and black in Baltimore, but all over the globe! Find a Flock is a way for you to find like-minded Ravens fans near you to watch games with! Whether you are traveling for work, vacation or relocating to a new city, you can find a little piece of home every Sunday.
When is Caw to Action?
Caw to Action will take place on October 6. However, fans and community members can volunteer throughout the weeks leading up to the event date and submit their completed volunteer activities on or by October 6.
What kind of projects are allowed?
Caw to Action encourages fans and community members to participate in a variety of service projects that support local communities. Volunteer activities can include projects with nonprofit organizations, community cleanups, food and donation drives, helping those in need and other acts of service that make a positive impact. Participants are encouraged to choose a project that aligns with their interests and helps address a need in their community.
