2023 Baltimore Ravens Coach of the Week

For 10 weeks during the regular season, the Ravens will honor a high school coach who has made a significant impact on his student-athletes. This award is in its 26th year of existence.

All 10 Coach of the Week winners receive a $2,000 donation to their school's football program and will attend a Ravens home game at M&T Bank Stadium in December for an opportunity to be named the Ravens High School Coach of the Year.

Week 1: Kurt Stein - Oakdale High School

Years Coaching at Oakdale: 14 years (only coach in OHS history, est. 2010.)

Honored for Week 1 Game on September 1: Oakdale 22, Milford Mill 21

Notable: The Bears scored a touchdown with 1:07 left and added a 2-point conversion to beat the host Millers, 22-21, in an early-season battle of state powers.

Honored for Week 2 Game on September 9 – Dundalk 27, New Town 26

Notable: The Owls trailed New Town 26-7 entering the 4th quarter and rattled off three scores to come from behind and beat their Baltimore County foe.

Honored for Week 3 Game on September 15: Loyola 35, Gonzaga 29

Notable: Loyola led 14-0 less than 2 minutes into the game and didn't look back, knocking off nationally touted Gonzaga, 35-29. Zehyoue is a two-time Ravens Coach of the Week (2019 & 2023).

Notable: In a battle of unbeaten teams, Blake's win notched the first 4-0 start in school history.

Notable: The Saints (9-1) have won 8 in a row and their lone loss this season came to MIAA Power, Archbishop Spalding by 1 point. They'll take on St. Mary's this coming weekend in the playoffs.
