The Ravens' tight end room has taken two hits at the start of free agency, as Charlie Kolar will reportedly head to the Los Angeles Chargers.

It's a three-year deal worth $24.3 million, per the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Kolar joins Isaiah Likely as departures on the first day that free agency opened, with Likely set to ink a reported three-year, $40 million deal with the New York Giants.

That leaves the Ravens with just veteran Mark Andrews in the tight end room. Baltimore got a contract extension done with Andrews late last season, with all three tight ends poised to hit the market.

While Likely followed John Harbaugh, Kolar will play for the other Harbaugh and General Manager Joe Hortiz, who was in Baltimore when the Ravens drafted Kolar in the fourth round in 2022.

Kolar's $8.1 million average puts him in the top-20 of average tight end salaries in 2026 and is the highest of those known primarily for their blocking.

With Andrews and Likely in the same room in Baltimore, Kolar re-tooled his game out of necessity, going from a predominant receiving tight end in college to an in-line blocker. He was still a reliable receiver, however, and set career highs in catches (10), receiving yards (142), and touchdowns (2) last season.

Now he'll reportedly join a Chargers room that last year featured breakout rookie receiving tight end Orande Gadsden.
