Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell suffered a knee injury in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Mitchell was ruled out at the start of the fourth quarter, after ripping off a 55-yard run in the third quarter. Head Coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Mitchell is day-to-day.
"Got good news, so we'll see where we're at tomorrow and Wednesday," Harbaugh said.
Mitchell indicated that it's not a serious injury Sunday night, and posted a positive update on Monday afternoon.
Mitchell was having his best game of the season before going down. He had six carries for 76 yards on the day. Mitchell hit a top speed of 20.39 mph on his long run, but lost speed at the end.
Mitchell was starting to become a bigger part of Baltimore's offense. His six carries were tied for a season high.
With Mitchell sidelined, the Ravens turned to Rasheen Ali behind Derrick Henry. They also seemed to put more running on Lamar Jackson's plate.
Mitchell suffered a major knee injury during his rookie season, which also cost him nearly all of his sophomore year. He returned this season and entered the game averaging 6.1 yards per carry.
