Game Recap: Ravens Pummel Packers to Stay Alive in Playoff Race

The Ravens entered a historic venue Saturday night and left with a historic performance.

Baltimore gashed the Packers and left Lambeau Field with a 41-24 win to keep its playoff hopes intact.

As a team, the Ravens gained 307 yards on the ground, averaging 5.8 yards per carry.

Derrick Henry ran wild in the victory, tying his career high with four touchdowns. The All-Pro tailback finished with a season-high 216 yards and a career-high 36 rushes.

Henry now has the most games (14) in NFL history with 150+ rushing yards and two touchdowns, passing Jim Brown with his performance.

In a battle of backup quarterbacks, the Ravens leaned on Henry from the onset, and the strategy paid dividends.

Here's how Saturday's game went down:

Turning Point

Holding a 34-24 lead, Marlon Humphrey made a critical interception off a dropped pass with seven minutes remaining to give possession back to Baltimore. It marked Humphrey's third consecutive game with an interception, and after giving up an 11-point lead to the New England Patriots last week, helped put the nail in the coffin.

Top Play

With the win all but in hand, Henry delivered the knockout blow with a 25-yard touchdown run with 1:56 left in the fourth quarter to reach the 200-yard mark for the first time since 2022. Following a lead block by fullback Patrick Ricard, Henry raced down the sideline and waltzed into the end zone untouched to plunge the dagger.

Huntley

Huntley filled in well for Jackson with an efficient and turnover-free night. Huntley finished with 16-of-20 passing for 107 yards. His legs were just as useful as his arm, as he finished with 61 yards on seven carries. Huntley's 10-yard touchdown pass to Zay Flowers early in the fourth quarter put the Ravens on top by 10. After Henry's fourth score, Jackson crowned Huntley with a cheese grater hat.

Offensive Line

Henry's efforts couldn't have been made without arguably Baltimore's best offensive performance up front. The Packers had the ninth-best run defense entering Saturday, but the Ravens' offensive line seemed to have the advantage play after play, paving the way for big gain after big gain. Huntley was sacked just once for zero yards lost. Baltimore sustained long drives, running 74 plays and dominating time of possession.

Secondary

Willis looked like anything but a backup quarterback Saturday night. The fourth-year signal-caller hit shot after shot over the Ravens' backend. Nate Wiggins and Kyle Hamilton gave up a 40-yard dime and a 39-yard touchdown pass, respectively, on the Packers' opening drive. Wiggins later got beat on a 34-yard completion downfield, and Humphrey over pursued on a 22-yard touchdown keeper by Willis.

Up Next

The Ravens will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers next week. If the Browns defeat the Steelers Sunday, that game will be for the AFC North crown and a playoff spot. The game day/time for that Week 18 matchup has yet to be determined.
