Matchups to Watch: Ravens vs. Texans
Here are the 1-on-1 matchups that will shape Sunday's game between the Ravens and Texans.

QB Cooper Rush vs. S Jalen Pitre
Pitre has three passes defensed this season and is one of three Texans with a takeaway. The fourth-year safety will look to be a deterrent against Rush, who will make his first start in Baltimore with Lamar Jackson out. Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken is confident the veteran signal-caller can fill in, even if his skillset may differ from Jackson's. "Obviously, as athletic as 'Coop' is, some of those things are not going to look the same as Lamar. But that doesn't mean you can't still be effective and efficient," Monken said.

RB Derrick Henry vs. LB Azeez Al-Shaair
Bolstering their front-seven, Al-Shaair leads the Texans in tackles with 28, and he'll have his work cut out against Henry. Monken made it clear during the week that the Ravens need to run the ball more, setting up Henry for possibly his largest workload as a Raven yet this season. Through four games, the Ravens lead the league in yards per carry (6.2), and without Jackson, Henry may gobble up a large majority of the touches. No better time to do so than against the Texans, who he gashed for 147 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries last year.

OLB Tavius Robinson vs. LT Aireontae Ersery
A second-round rookie, Ersery has had an up-and-down start to his career protecting C.J. Stroud's blind side. He'll square off against Robinson, who paces Baltimore's outside linebackers with two sacks. The Ravens only have four sacks this season, tied for the second-fewest in the league, and could be without Odafe Oweh. Unlocking a more consistent pass rush would help alleviate the pressure on a banged-up defense.

LT Ronnie Stanley vs. DE Danielle Hunter
The Texans have one of the top pass rush duos in the league in Hunter and Will Anderson Jr. The pair has seven combined sacks. The Ravens will have to keep those two at bay, especially with a less-mobile Rush under center. Stanley started last week but was forced out of the game with his ankle injury. He was able to practice most of the week, a positive sign that he will once again suit up.

CB Nate Wiggins vs. WR Nico Collins
Collins is Houston's most dangerous weapon, leading the Texans with 260 receiving yards and 18 catches on 31 targets. The Ravens could be without Marlon Humphrey, Chidobe Awuzie, and Kyle Hamilton, leaving Wiggins as one of the top players in the secondary. The second-year cornerback will have plenty of chances to lock up a preeminent pass catcher.
