Biography

ADRIAN DIXON is in his first season as the Ravens' head certified athletic trainer after being hired by the organization in February 2022. Entering this 11th NFL season overall, he spent the past six years (2016-21) working for the Tennessee Titans, most recently serving as the team's director of physical therapy and sports rehabilitation. Working closely with Ravens CMO Dr. Andrew Tucker, their staff is comprised of Ron Medlin, Kevin Domboski, Michael Blankenship, Collin Francis, Chris Marroquin and Michael Thomas.

2022: (with Baltimore): Was named head certified athletic trainer by EVP & GM Eric DeCosta in February.

2016-21: (with Tennessee): 2021: Was named the 2021 Tim Davey Assistant Athletic Trainer of the Year...The award is presented annually at the NFL Combine PFATS meeting and is emblematic of the commitment, dedication and high level of integrity that the late Tim Davey (a longtime Jets trainer and NFL operations executive) brought to the profession of athletic training...In July, was promoted to the Titans' director of physical therapy and sports rehabilitation...Named co-director of the PFATS Research Committee. 2016: Joined Tennessee as its rehab coordinator/assistant athletic trainer...In his role, he designed and managed the rehabilitation and treatment programs for injured players, also overseeing their progression back onto the field.

2014-15: (with Tampa Bay): Served as an assistant athletic trainer/physical therapist. 2015: Named to the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society's Research Committee

2013: (with Houston): Took part in a season-long athletic training internship with the Texans.

2007-08: (with Tampa Bay): Took part in a year-long athletic training internship with the Buccaneers.

2005: (with Chicago): Originally entered the NFL ranks as a summer athletic training intern with the Bears.

COLLEGE/PERSONAL: Earned a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Florida A&M University in 2013...Also holds a Master of Science Degree with Emphasis in Sports Administration, plus two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Exercise Science and Athletic Training/Sports Medicine, from Florida State University...A native of Tampa, FL, Dixon and his wife, Myrlande, have two daughters (Amelia and Anabelle) and a son (Amir).
