Media Advisory - Heap To Participate in “NFL Take A Player To School” Event

by BaltimoreRavens.com 11/6/2009

On Tuesday (11/10), Baltimore Ravens TE Todd Heap will be among 34 players participating in “NFL Take a Player to School” presented by the JCPenney Afterschool Fund.

With Halloween around the corner, members of the Baltimore Ravens not only got into the spirit of the season, but in some cases, got into full costume and character, as the team ventured out into the community.

I ran for 32 minutes in gym class. I walked the dog for 17 minutes in the park. My sister, mom and I jumped rope for 11 minutes. I played 60. Now multiply that by three school assemblies and five football players and the result is the Baltimore Ravens’ Tuesday in our community.
