Another piece of the Ravens' high-powered offense will return to action for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Tight end Isaiah Likely is active and will make his season debut after suffering a foot injury early in training camp. He practiced all week for the second straight week.
Left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) is also active, but the Ravens will be short-handed in the defensive trenches. Travis Jones (knee) is inactive and Baltimore's other two starting defensive linemen, Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) and Broderick Washington Jr. (ankle), were both put on injured reserve Saturday.
Likely is coming off his best season in 2024 (42 catches, 477 yards, six touchdowns) and had a huge Week 1 game in Kansas City last season, catching nine passes for 111 yards and a touchdown. He came a toe away from a touchdown that could have tied the game at the end of regulation.
Stanley has made 26 consecutive starts since 2023 and went through a pre-game workout in front of the Ravens' medical staff. Protecting Jackson's blindside will be critical against the Chiefs, who have two superb pass rushers in Chris Jones and George Karlaftis. Jackson was sacked seven times Monday night during a 38-30 loss to the Detroit Lions.
The Ravens signed veteran defensive lineman Brent Urban to the 53-man roster and elevated defensive tackles C.J. Okoye and Josh Tupou from the practice squad on Saturday to face the Chiefs. John Jenkins and rookie sixth-round defensive lineman Aeneas Pebbles could also see increased roles in Baltimore's defensive line rotation.
Veteran outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy (groin) is inactive and will miss his second straight game. Baltimore's leading pass rusher from last season won't be available to help the Ravens pressure Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, after they did not have a sack against the Lions.
Veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander will be inactive for the third straight game after going through a pre-game workout. Alexander has been getting in peak physical shape after recovering from a knee issue that forced him to miss significant time during training camp.
Pro Bowl fullback Patrick Ricard (calf) was ruled out on Friday has not played yet this season. Also inactive for the Ravens are running back Keaton Mitchell, defensive back Reuben Lowery III, and offensive lineman Carson Vinson.
Chiefs second-year wide receiver Xavier Worthy is active and will return to the lineup after missing most of the first three games due to a shoulder injury.
The Chiefs are much healthier than the Ravens. Kansas City's inactives are cornerback Kristian Fulton, tight end Jared Wiley, running back Elijah Mitchell, starting defensive end Mike Danna, offensive lineman Hunter Nourzad, wide receiver Jason Brownlee and defensive tackle Brodric Martin.
