Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month after going 8-for-8 on field goal attempts and 6-for-6 on extra points in November.

Tucker has bounced back from the toughest moment of his career, a missed extra point with 24 seconds to play during a 24-23 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 21. It was the first extra point Tucker had ever missed, but he has been perfect on field goals and extra points ever since.

This is the sixth time Tucker has won the award, which is the most by any kicker in NFL history. It's the second time this season after winning in September.

Tucker is the most accurate field goal kicker of all time, making 223 of his 247 attempts (90.3 percent). Since entering the NFL in 2012, Tucker has made more field goals than any kicker, three more than Stephen Gostkowski of the New England Patriots.

Tucker made his longest field goal of the season Nov. 18 against the Cincinnati Bengals, a 56-yarder that provided the Ravens with their margin of victory in a 24-21 win. It was the ninth straight kick from 50 yards or more that Tucker has made.

Making two field goals and four extra points in Sunday's 34-17 victory over the Oakland Raiders, Tucker became the fastest kicker to reach 900 points in his career. Tucker has already been to two Pro Bowls, with a chance to make his third this season. Tucker has made 21 of 23 field goal attempts this season, and 26 of 27 extra points.
