Head Coach DeMeco Ryans

On stopping the run game and RB Derrick Henry: "For us defensively, that was our main goal. We knew we had to stop the run. We know Derrick Henry would get more touches. He would try to get more opportunities, and our guys did a really nice job starting up front with our defensive line, our tackles played really well, our ends at the edge, and we tackled really well."

On getting their first win in Baltimore, especially after the 2024 Christmas day loss: "That game last year was a hard one to watch. I had to go back and watch it, and I had to face it. We did not play well enough. We did not stop the run. So, we did not score enough points. We didn't do anything well in that game. It was a disappointing game for how we showed up. We can't dwell on that. It's different teams, new year, new season; like just about us and this year, this team. Then, 'How do we prepare? How do we get better? How do we come out and finish the game?' That's what stuck out to me the most, like how everybody did what they needed to do. That's what I'm proud of. That's what is going to continue to propel us forward."

QB C.J. Stroud

On how much never winning in Baltimore motivated the team: "In the back of our mind, it's always there, that we really haven't had success against these guys in a long time. But I think it's the preparation that gets the win. We prepared our tails off this week. I thought our preparation from practices to our meetings to our walkthroughs, everything was really crisp [and] on point. It doesn't matter who's out there when you have that type of preparation. Of course, they're missing guys. It's obvious, but they'll be fine once they get their guys back. I think it's big, because we had the same problem last year when we played them. We had a lot of guys out on Christmas day, and they gave us an old-fashioned [whooping], so I think it's cool to come back here and do the same thing."

DE Will Anderson Jr.

On the importance of stopping Ravens RB Derrick Henry: "Yes, it meant everything. That was our biggest game plan going in – stopping [No.] 22 [Derrick Henry]. [If] everybody [is] getting knocked back, everybody [is] making him stop his feet and gang tackling, we're going to have the day that we want."

On if it was difficult to game plan for the Ravens not knowing who was playing: "At the end of the day, I think the coaches did a really good job of preparing us for whoever was going to be on the field. We prepared as if Lamar Jackson was going to be on the field. They also threw in a little bit of Cooper Rush this week. I can say we have a really good staff here, and I think the players, we responded the right way."

On how it feels to avenge last year's loss to the Ravens: "It feels great. It feels great. I think that was one of the biggest things, having that chip on our shoulder, like we've got to get some get back. We wanted to be the first Texans to win in Baltimore, and it's just a blessing that we were able to do this."

S Jalen Pitre

On the defense forcing three turnovers: "It was just pure execution. Definitely some great plays, but shoutout to my teammates who allowed me to do it. Like, if you go back and look at the tape, I'm sure Cooper Rush was rushed on the first pick."

On if they expected the Ravens to struggle given all the injuries coming into the game: "We expected them to come out and play their style of football. Obviously, they have a great 'back in Derrick Henry, and some great wide receiver and tight end threats. They came out and tried to do the things they wanted to do. I just think that overall, you know, we executed better today. It was good to come out with a win."
