Head Coach John Harbaugh
Opening statement:"OK, good to have you guys here – appreciate you being here again. We have a couple special guests: Braeden Gray was here. [He is a] Make-A-Wish guy from Utah. [He is a] big, huge Ravens fan and he gave a little message to the team that was just fantastic about fighting, making every play count and making every day count [and how] when you have something taken away from you, you realize how important that is. That's pretty good wisdom for a 16-year old boy, young man. And then we had Tony Siragusa – 'Goose' – here. He talked to the team and basically gave the same message. It was great to hear from those two guys. Alright, what do you have?"
Can you give us any kind of clarity on the quarterback situation for Sunday? (Jamison Hensley)"Not really. I mean, it's not … Well, I wouldn't anyway, probably, as you know. *(laughter) (Reporter: That's why I phrased it that way.) (laughter) *There's really no reason to. I don't think it matters to the Seahawks. They don't care. They're going to play against our offense. That's what they're getting ready for. That's not going to matter to them. But, we really don't know yet. We're going to take Matt [Schuab] … Matt is getting better. He threw yesterday – threw well yesterday – on his own. There's no sense in putting him out here in practice where he can get banged and bumped around. But, if he can go, he will. If it's best for our team for Jimmy [Clausen] to go, then that's the way we'll do it there."
How did QB Jimmy Clausen do this week handling the starting reps? (Luke Jones)"He did well. He did very well. Jimmy is smart. He has been in this basic system before. He knows how to handle himself. He has played a lot of football, so he's fine. He played well."
John, was there any results or decision made from T Eugene Monroe's MRI on Wednesday? (Jon Meoli)"Yes, he's not going to play this week. Any other announcements beyond that, season-wise, a decision has been made, but I don't think it's really for me to announce it at this time. We'll let Eugene or Ozzie [Newsome] announce what the plans are with that."
Has TE Maxx Williams been cleared from the concussion protocol, and if so, are you looking forward to seeing him get back out there understanding TE Nick Boyle is no longer in the picture for the rest of this year and with TE Crockett Gillmore banged up? (Luke Jones)"[Maxx Williams] has passed, so we'll see. I kind of expect him to play unless something pops up, but he passed yesterday."
