Defensive Newcomers

The Ravens' defensive rookies and newcomers made their mark Thursday. After recording just four takeaways through their first seven games, the Ravens had three on Thursday, all created by newcomers. First, safety Alohi Gilman had a strip and recovery to set up the opening touchdown of the night. In the second half, Marlon Humphrey and Teddye Buchanan were involved in a fumble recovery to prevent the Dolphins from scoring points. On Miami's next drive, first-round safety Malaki Starks grabbed his first career interception on a heave downfield by Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Tight Ends

After a gradual start to the season, Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely burst onto the scene Thursday. Andrews hauled in two touchdown catches in the first half, the second of which was set up by a 35-yard catch and run by Likely. Charlie Kolar also reached the end zone for the second straight week on a 3-yard pass from Jackson. Likely finished with a season-high 60 yards on three catches.
