In the first of back-to-back road games, Baltimore travels to the "Sunshine State" for a Thursday night showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 27. The Ravens own an 8-4 record on Thursday Night Football under head coach John Harbaugh, including wins in six of their last eight such matchups. The matchup also marks the Ravens' first-ever game exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
Since becoming Baltimore's head coach in 2008, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of two teams (Detroit) that head coach John Harbaugh has never lost to, posting a 3-0 record, including one victory on the road. In the teams' last meeting in Tampa (10/12/14), Baltimore scored on its first six possessions, taking a 38-0 second-quarter lead, en route to a 48-17 victory over the host Buccaneers. QB Joe Flacco threw touchdown passes at the end of each of the Ravens' first five possessions, becoming the fastest (16 minutes and 3 seconds) QB in NFL history to toss a quintet of touchdowns at the start of a game. The five touchdowns thrown were a personal best for Flacco, who completed 21-of-28 passes for 306 yards and a career single-game best 149.7 QB rating.
