Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens, October 5, 2025

  • In a battle of teams that won their respective divisions in 2024, the Baltimore Ravens (1-3) host the Houston Texans (1-3) at M&T Bank Stadium this Sunday (1 p.m. kickoff). Baltimore is 1-1 at home this season, while Houston is 0-2 on the road.
  • Including playoffs, Baltimore is 13-2 all time against the Texans. The Ravens have won six straight games in this series, including last season's 31-2 Christmas Day victory at Houston. Baltimore is 8-0 all time against the Texans in Charm City.
  • Under John Harbaugh (18th season), who is the NFL's second longest-tenured head coach (Mike Tomlin - 19), the Ravens are one of four teams with at least 12 playoff berths in the past 17 seasons, joining Green Bay (13), Kansas City (12) and New England (12). Since Harbaugh's 2008 Baltimore arrival, his Ravens have produced the NFL's fourth-most total victories (186).
  • Dating back to 2018, when two-time NFL MVP QB Lamar Jackson became its starter, Baltimore has earned six playoff berths (in seven full seasons) and produced a 71-27 regular season record. Jackson now leads an offense that, entering Week 5 this season, ranks No. 3 in the NFL in points scored per game (32.8), while the Texans' defense has allowed a league-low 12.8 ppg.
  • Depleted by 10 starters dealing with injuries last Sunday at Kansas City, Baltimore fell, 37-20. Jackson, who exited the contest with a third-quarter hamstring injury, was 14-of-20 for 147 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. RB Justice Hill produced much of the offensive action, finishing with 1 receiving TD (11 yards on the opening drive) and a 71-yard rushing TD late in the fourth. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was on point, however, throwing for 270 yards and 4 TDs, while helping the Chiefs convert 4-of-4 key fourth-down attempts.
