Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers, December 11, 2022

Baltimore travels to Heinz Field for a matchup against AFC North-rival Pittsburgh Steelers on December 11, marking the second-consecutive year Baltimore will not face the Steelers until December. As two of the winningest franchises of the last decade, the Steelers and Ravens are the only pair of teams from the same division that enter the 2022 season ranking in the Top 5 in regular season victories since 2008. Additionally, during that span, Baltimore and/or Pittsburgh was represented in the postseason each season except for 2013, marking the only season during the Harbaugh Era in which both teams missed the playoffs.

History: Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

This matchup marks the 32nd meeting (including playoffs) between head coaches John Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin. The 32 head-to-head battles break a tie (Curly Lambeau vs. Steve Owen) for the second most by a pair of opposing head coaches in league history. The only head coaches in NFL history to produce more head-to-head matchups are Lambeau vs. George Halas (49 times). In the Ravens-Steelers rivalry, 22 of the last 28 matchups (since 2008) have been decided by one score. Of those games, 16 have been decided by three-or-fewer points, which is the most such contests among any two NFL division rivals. Since 2008 (during the Harbaugh Era), the Ravens and Steelers have squared off in five overtime contests, including their Week 18 matchup last season, tying (Chargers-Chiefs) for the most OT games in a division series over that span.
