Lamar Jackson is not on the field at the start of Friday's practice and has yet to practice since suffering his ankle injury 12 days ago.
Tyler "Snoop" Huntley is preparing to start a second straight game Sunday in Cleveland. Huntley led the Ravens to a comeback overtime victory in Atlanta and has won his last three starts dating back to last season.
Head Coach Jesse Minter said earlier this week that Jackson is "day to day" and it was reported that the two-time MVP had a "realistic chance" of playing in the Ravens' AFC North opener.
Wide receiver Rashod Bateman (shoulder) was back on the field after missing Thursday's practice, but was in a red non-contact jersey. Center Cam Jurgens (concussion), who is looking to make his Ravens debut, is also still in a non-contact jersey.
Wide receiver Zay Flowers was on the field Friday after popping up on the injury report with a toe injury Thursday. Same for outside linebacker Mike Green, who was added with a hamstring issue.
Other Ravens not at the start of Friday's practice are rookie tight end Matt Hibner (hand), left tackle Ronnie Stanley (rest/toe/ankle), defensive lineman Calais Campbell (rest) and defensive tackle Broderick Washington Jr. (ankle).
Hibner hasn't practiced all week. If he can't play, it would mean a bigger role for fellow rookie Josh Cuevas. The Ravens already lost tight end Durham Smythe to a season-ending Achilles injury. Washington was a limited participant to start the week but didn't practice Thursday.
Multiple Browns Leaders Return to Practice
The Browns got some big-time second-year players back at practice Friday, an indication that they have a chance to play in Sunday's game.
Those who returned are defensive tackle Mason Graham (knee/ankle), who leads the Browns with four sacks, inside linebacker Carson Schwesinger (ankle), who was last year's AFC Defensive Rookie of the Year and leads the team in tackles so far this season, and lead running back Quinshon Judkins (ankle).
