Mock Draft Roundup: Post-Free Agency Picks for Ravens

MockRoundup6

Attention is beginning to shift toward the draft next month.

After a trade for Maxx Crosby fell through, the Ravens are scheduled to be back on the clock at pick No. 14 in the first round.

Here's who pundits are tabbing as potential selections for Baltimore:

OL Spencer Fano, Utah

AP25265030924609 (1)

Mel Kiper Jr., ESPN: "It appeared this pick was going to Las Vegas. Instead, Baltimore will still be on the clock at No. 14. Fano is steady as a pass protector, with double-digit starts at each tackle spot. But with 32⅛-inch arms, he might actually slide inside at the next level. Teams worked out Fano at center during the combine, and he could absolutely handle that role as a replacement for Tyler Linderbaum on the Ravens. Fano could also join new addition John Simpson as a starting guard. And on top of all that, he'd provide much-needed depth behind Ronnie Stanley and Roger Rosengarten at tackle. (The other path would be taking a wide receiver -- don't be surprised if this ends up being Jordyn Tyson or USC's Makai Lemon.)"

Joel Klatt, FOX Sports: "Now, Baltimore has some questions along the offensive line to figure out. Fano's a good fit for the Ravens and giving quarterback Lamar Jackson more protection is never a bad idea. What might hurt Fano in this process is when general managers look to see how he did against the best competition he faced. Fano didn't play well against David Bailey and Texas Tech this past season. That might be why he falls here and isn't a top-10 pick."

G Vega Ioane, Penn State

AP25224762601421 (2)

Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz, USA Today: "Back to the drawing board for Baltimore after the nixed Maxx Crosby trade. At least the edge rush concern has been taken care of with Trey Hendrickson defecting from the Bengals. The Ravens can now continue to fortify a front that has seen substantial shifts in free agency. Ioane would team with fellow guard John Simpson to provide outstanding protection for Lamar Jackson and a massive push in the run game."

Josh Edwards, CBS Sports: "Baltimore is back on the board at No. 14 overall after it had been involved in the trade for Maxx Crosby. The Ravens could move forward with recently signed John Simpson at right guard and returnee Andrew Vorhees at left guard, but Vega Ioane is a Raven if I've ever seen one. He brings stability for a head coach who wants to instill a physical brand of football."

Nick Baumgardner, The Athletic: "With Maxx Crosby back in Las Vegas (for now?) and Trey Hendrickson on his way to Baltimore, the Ravens can focus on a pressing need other than edge. They do so in this mock by taking the draft's top interior offensive lineman, in the wake of losing Tyler Linderbaum."

Brianna Dix, Buccaneers.com: "Olaivavega Ioane falls perfectly into the Ravens' lap. Ioane would upgrade the Ravens' interior with his power and contact balance. Ioane stays locked as a drive blocker and is adept at countering twists/stunts. He sets a firm anchor against power bull rushes and displaces linemen. Ioane would help set the tone in Baltimore's run game."

EDGE Rueben Bain Jr., Miami

AP26012787353975

2025 stats: 46 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, 1 interception

Nate Davis & Ayrton Ostly, USA Today: "GM Eric DeCosta claimed he'd hoped to acquire Crosby and sign pass rusher Trey Hendrickson. Picking Bain, who most certainly plays like a Raven − short arms and all − would allow for an alternate fulfillment of that plan. Bain's T-rex limbs didn't stop him from being extremely productive – often against NFL-caliber offensive tackles – for the 'Canes. He bulled his way to 9½ sacks and 15½ TFLs last season and was a menace during the College Football Playoff."

Luke Easterling, Athlon Sports: "Even after signing Trey Hendrickson to a massive deal, I wouldn't be shocked if the Ravens still targeted one of the top edge rushers in this draft to turn a weakness into a strength after last year's defensive debacle. Washington replaces their missing second-round pick in this deal, while the Ravens make a bold move up the board to land a complete edge defender who can set the edge against the run and get after the quarterback with both speed and power."

TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon

AP25327037655495

2025 stats: 51 receptions, 560 yards, 8 touchdowns

Connor Rogers, NBC Sports: "The Ravens need a mismatch weapon for Lamar Jackson, but they typically love to restock the roster with size and toughness. Sadiq can be the blend that brings both. He can work as a power slot receiver, an inline tight end as a number two to Mark Andrews or even out of the backfield. It's a bonus for them that he'll bring high effort blocking on the perimeter for their run game."

WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State

AP25270102469905

2025 stats: 61 receptions, 711 yards, 8 touchdowns

Justin Melo, Sports Illustrated: "The Baltimore Ravens still own this selection as a result of their suspicious decision to break their agreement to trade for Maxx Crosby. They quickly responded by signing Trey Hendrickson, so EDGE isn't a need here. Wide receiver is, and Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson has legitimate WR1 potential with run-after-catch ability. Injuries are a concern, but he's the most complete receiver in the draft when healthy."

Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com: "Tyson would be a fun new weapon for offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, who might see some similarities between the Arizona State product and a player he coached with the Bears last season, Luther Burden III."

EDGE Akheem Mesidor, Miami

AP26001087092544

2025 stats: 63 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles

Gordon McGuinness, Pro Football Focus: "Mesidor will be 25 years old by the time the 2026 NFL Draft rolls around and may not neatly fit into the Ravens' first-round thresholds. However, Baltimore seems to have wanted to pair Maxx Crosby and Trey Hendrickson off the edge in free agency. Mesidor earned an 88.3 PFF run-defense grade to go with a 92.5 PFF pass-rush grade in 2025, so he could be the perfect partner for Hendrickson."
