Mock Draft Roundup: Mauling Guard Is Runaway Favorite for Ravens

DraftRoundup9.0

Less than two weeks to go.

The NFL Draft will kick off in 13 days in Pittsburgh, and with the clock winding down, the first-round picture is becoming increasingly clear.

One name that has been consistently linked to the Ravens continues to generate buzz as the favorite to land in Baltimore.

Here are the latest picks for the Ravens across mock drafts:

G Vega Ioane, Penn State

AP25334026836279 (4)

Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News: "The Ravens will pivot from a potential shot at [offensive tackle Francis] Mauigoa to taking the best pure mauling interior lineman available in the wake of losing Tyler Linderbaum in free agency. Ioane would give them a huge upgrade at left guard to help the new right guard John Simpson."

Luke Easterling, Athlon Sports: "There may be a new coaching staff in Baltimore, but the same folks are calling the shots in the personnel department, and this just feels too much like a classic Ravens pick. Instead of opting for a flashy pass-catcher, Baltimore helps out Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and company by building through the trenches with Ioane, easily this year's top guard prospect. He's a top-10 talent in this class, and would be a plug-and-play starter with immediate All-Pro potential."

Garrett Podell, CBS Sports: "The Ravens' interior offensive line is their most glaring issue after Tyler Linderbaum's departure, and Olaivavega Ioane can mitigate that loss in front of Lamar Jackson as a left guard in 2026. He didn't allow a sack over his final two college seasons, spanning 27 starts and 776 pass-blocking snaps."

Chad Reuter, NFL.com: "Ioane's the sort of road grader the Ravens have desired in recent years. He starts at right guard in this scenario, with the team selecting a center on Day 3 to bolster the line in front of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry."

JP Acosta, CBS Sports: "Another perfect player-to-team fit, Ioane is a pure left guard and one of the best offensive linemen in this draft class. He plays with a strong base and even stronger hands, and can also be a weapon on the move. While it may not be a seamless fit in an outside zone scheme, I do think he can pull it off, which makes him the pick here at No. 14. The duo of Andrew Vorhees and Daniel Faalele didn't cut it in 2025, and if the Ravens are going to get the best out of Lamar Jackson, they need to keep him clean."

Tyler Dragon, USA Today: "The Ravens must beef up their interior, especially after losing center Tyler Linderbaum. Ioane is the top-rated guard in this year's draft. He's a tough mauler of a guard who can help pave the way for more rushing lanes for Derrick Henry."

Nick Wright, FOX Sports: "I got the Ravens going with the best available interior offensive lineman. He hasn't played much center at all, I think 20 snaps total, but he's played both guard spots. They need help on the interior of the offensive line."

Nick Baumgardner, The Athletic: "The Ravens' top order of business has to be fixing the Tyler Linderbaum-sized hole directly in front of Jackson. Ioane is not a center, of course, but his presence as a powerhouse run blocker with a great anchor in pass pro could be exactly what the Ravens need."

Daire Carragher, Pro Football Focus: "Ioane excelled as a pass-protecting left guard at Penn State, ranking highly in PFF pass-blocking grade (87.0) in 2025. He did not allow a sack or a quarterback hit that season. He will likely have to transition to right guard on the Ravens' offensive line, but he has experience there from his time in college."

Josh Edwards, CBS Sports: "Daniel Faalele signed with the Giants. Baltimore accounted for his departure with the signing of John Simpson, but neither his presence nor Andrew Vorhees should stop the team from addressing a long-term replacement. Vega Ioane can be a high end starter at the position."

OL Spencer Fano, Utah

AP25336804577428

Nate Tice, Yahoo! Sports: "Whether Fano can hang at tackle doesn't really matter for the Ravens, who would be more than happy to add his athleticism, versatility, and movement ability as they look to rework their interior. Fano could even be a potential Tyler Linderbaum replacement at center. Either way, his run blocking will be highlighted, and if the Ravens look to become more of a zone-heavy team again under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, then Fano's light feet and run blocking chops will be a perfect fit opposite of John Simpson."

Rhett Lewis, NFL.com: "There's been a lot of conversation around Fano's arm length and the potential of moving him from tackle to guard. In this scenario, the Ravens start Fano inside while building depth as a potential replacement at a bookend should the need arise."

WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State

AP25291776841336

2025 stats: 61 receptions, 711 yards, 8 touchdowns

FOX Sports Staff: "Tyson could easily be the first receiver taken in this draft. Regardless, Baltimore desperately needs to draft a weapon for Lamar Jackson. He's a big-bodied receiver at 6-2, 200 pounds, and he catches everything thrown at him. In two seasons with ASU, he's caught 136 balls for 1,812 yards and an impressive 18 touchdowns."

TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon

AP25250213447381

2025 stats: 51 receptions, 560 yards, 8 touchdowns

Peter Schrager, ESPN: "What better way to show Lamar Jackson and Ravens fans that the Baltimore offense isn't going anywhere without offensive coordinator Todd Monken or former TE2 Isaiah Likely than by drafting a supreme talent like Sadiq? One of the stars of the combine, Sadiq ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, the fastest time for a tight end since at least 2003. He also caught 51 passes last season, the most ever by an Oregon tight end. Mark Andrews is back in Baltimore, but he's now in his 30s, and this offense likes having multiple impact players at the position."

OL Francis Mauigoa, Miami

AP25291107679118

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: "He has played right tackle but has the look of a dominating guard. They have had great success moving college tackles inside to guard over the years with guys like Marshal Yanda."

EDGE Rueben Bain Jr., Miami

AP26008612668701

2025 stats: 46 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, 1 interception

Nate Davis, USA Today: "Picking Bain, who most certainly plays like a Raven − short arms and all − would allow for an alternate fulfillment of GM Eric DeCosta's alleged plan to pair Trey Hendrickson and Maxx Crosby before Baltimore backed out on its trade with the Raiders for the latter. Bain's T-rex limbs didn't stop him from being extremely productive – often against NFL-caliber offensive tackles – for the 'Canes. He bulled his way to 9½ sacks and 15½ TFLs last season and was a menace during the College Football Playoff."
