Mock Draft Roundup: Pundits Split on Two Offensive Line Prospects for Ravens

Mock8Thumb

April is here, meaning draft season is officially upon us.

As the mock drafts roll in hot and heavy, two offensive linemen continue to be the most popular selections for the Ravens.

Here's who has been mocked to Baltimore:

G Vega Ioane, Penn State

AP26061127713119

Tom Fornelli, CBS Sports: "There are two locks in this draft: Mendoza to the Raiders and Ioane to the Ravens. OK, so Ioane isn't a lock, but it feels like one, seeing as how he's the pick in every single mock you've read."

Gilberto Manzano, Sports Illustrated: "The Ravens have no issues with taking an interior lineman in the first round. But this might be way too high to take a center at this spot to replace the departed Tyler Linderbaum. Instead, the Ravens can select the best guard in this draft class, one who used his elite strength to dominate opponents during his time at Penn State."

Lance Zierlein, NFL.com: "Baltimore moves back and still gets its hands on a mashing guard prospect with excellent size (6-foot-4, 320 pounds) and the ability to help fortify the running game for years to come."

Bleacher Report: "Penn State's Vega Ioane won't directly replace Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum, but the guard's selection helps strengthen an offensive interior that's been weakened this offseason. Ioane brings a blend of size, strength and play-style that fits perfectly in Baltimore, even if a new coaching staff took the reins this year."

Ryan Wilson, CBS Sports: "There will be a lot of teams lining up to draft Ioane if the Ravens don't grab him here. He's a Day 1 starter after a stellar Penn State career."

Ayrton Ostly, USA Today: "Baltimore has plenty of needs on offense and defense but protecting quarterback Lamar Jackson is a major priority. The team takes the best player available here and upgrades the interior with the top interior offensive lineman in the class. Ioane has the mix of size, power and footwork to thrive sooner than later."

OL Spencer Fano, Utah

Nick Shook, NFL.com: "The Ravens could use another edge and some reinforcements along the defensive front, but they also need to replace center Tyler Linderbaum. Fano played tackle throughout his college career, but he projects more as a guard in the NFL. If he can make the move inside effectively, it would also then allow for a natural transition to center."

Mike Band, NFL.com: "Fano makes a ton of sense here as an elite mover with five-position flexibility, giving Baltimore an immediate option at guard or center while also offering valuable tackle insurance. The fit with this regime is clean, too: Fano checks several Ravens boxes as a Power Four prospect possessing strong athletic testing, team-captain credentials and deep football bloodlines, with four uncles who played in the NFL and a brother who is also a 2026 prospect."

Charles Davis, NFL.com: "Wherever Fano is asked to play, he will be a huge addition for the Ravens' front."

Bucky Brooks, NFL.com: "If the Ravens stick to their traditional script of taking the best player available at each pick, the Utah standout could contribute as an interior or bookend blocker for a unit that wants to maul and mash defenses at the point of attack."

CB Jermod McCoy, Tennessee

AP26090720651356

2025 stats: Missed season due to ACL tear

Bruce Feldman, The Athletic: "Baltimore could use some O-line help and has some pretty good options here, but the Ravens make a point not to bypass big value. This feels like one of those spots. McCoy missed all of the 2025 season after tearing his ACL but displayed some elite skills in 2024, when he had four interceptions and nine pass breakups. He allowed only one touchdown pass in 640 snaps that season, and it came against the great Jeremiah Smith in the first-round Playoff loss to Ohio State."

Matt Miller, ESPN: "Marlon Humphrey is on the decline, and Nate Wiggins is still a little unproven. McCoy, meanwhile, would have been CB1 in this class had he not lost a season to a torn ACL."

TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon

AP25333810925722

2025 stats: 51 receptions, 560 yards, 8 touchdowns

Josh Edwards, CBS Sports: "Mark Andrews turns 31 in September. Baltimore lost Charlie Kolar and Isaiah Likely in free agency. Chicago, under Declan Doyle, had at least two tight ends on the field for 45.4% of its plays, according to TruMedia. Kenyon Sadiq is both the present and the future at the position in Baltimore."

Luke Easterling, Athlon Sports: "Speaking of giving elite quarterbacks explosive weapons, Baltimore landing this year's top tight end prospect to help elevate the passing game for Lamar Jackson would be scary. Isaiah Likely left in free agency, and Mark Andrews isn't getting any younger, so the Ravens could use a dynamic playmaker like Sadiq, who can create consistent matchup problems with his combination of size, athleticism and physicality."

WR Carnell Tate, Ohio State

AP25333753205617

2025 stats: 51 receptions, 875 yards, 9 touchdowns

Nate Tice, Yahoo! Sports: "The first wide receiver selected! While I would love for the Ravens to pair Lamar Jackson with a WR with real size, Tate is just such a steady player who plays bigger than his size because of his catching range and ball skills. He's a smart player who is effective at all three levels as a route runner, and his feel against zone would be highlighted during Jackson's scramble drills. The Ravens could look to bolster their offensive line here, but I think dipping into the first-round wide receiver well (again) with Tate would give the Ravens a different flavor of pass catcher than they have."

OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami

AP25291107533263

Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News: "The Ravens need to consider further upgrading their offensive line, with Ronnie Staley showing his age at left tackle. Mauigoa should be groomed well to take over there soon to give the line more needed youthful athleticism."

WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State

AP25285223525407

2025 stats: 61 receptions, 711 yards, 8 touchdowns

Justin Melo, Sports Illustrated: "Jordyn Tyson's pre-draft medicals make it difficult to project where he'll be drafted. If the Baltimore Ravens are comfortable, he'd be an excellent fit. Tyson has legitimate WR1 potential and the Ravens lost some pass-catching production in free agency through Isaiah Likely and DeAndre Hopkins (expected to depart)."
