The Caw: Breshad Perriman Shaves Off His Dreads

Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman has gotten a makeover.

Perriman shaved off his dreads and (kinda) showed off the look on Twitter Thursday morning:

C'mon Breshad, take off the beanie!

Personally, I give the move a thumbs up. The new cut gives the 22-year-old receiver a fresh, more youthful look. Plus, any chance this makes the speedster even faster?

As a reference point, former Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith had arguably his best season after cutting off his dreads in April of 2013. Smith posted 65 catches for 1,128 yards and four touchdowns the following season.

Perriman has to get his knee healthy first, but the hair is a step in the right direction.
