Training camp and the preseason is all about competition. You've got to earn your job every year, no matter who you are.

Well, you've got competition, Real Fan Dan. There's a new kid on the block.

Colin Prior, 10, of Timonium showed his stuff with a shirtless flex during Thursday's preseason opener. No R-A-V-E-N-S chant, but he can work on that.

First, Colin is jacked. Get him on the Ravens offensive line (we could use some more depth).

Second, the Maryland flag shorts are awesome and I want them.

Third, the showmanship is off the charts.

"It's just like Colin that he would get caught on the Jumbotron flexing without his shirt on in the middle of a sporting event," his mother, Kerry Prior, said.

"Oh my Gosh, he is not bashful. He's a great, fun kid to be around. He's a huge fan of Maryland sports, as you can tell by the shorts."

We're always looking for the next crop of Ravens Super Fans. Pretty sure Colin has the right stuff.

The Prior family got tickets for the preseason game via Associated Press writer Todd Karpovich and don't have any future games on the calendar.

"If we go back, I assume those are the seats that we are sitting in, and I'm sure he will be ready to go," Kerry promised.

(Despite multiple attempts, Real Fan Dan could not be reached for comment for this story. He may have gone into hiding.)
