It won't be snowy for the Ravens-Bills rematch from last year's divisional playoffs.

The Ravens will open their 2025 season with a "Sunday Night Football" showdown in Buffalo on Sept. 7.

There's no avenging a playoff loss in the regular season, but it will at least give the Ravens an opportunity to wash the sour taste from their mouth after last season's 27-25 defeat in the playoffs.

"I think you just have to use the letdowns, in a sense, as motivation and fuel for your fire," linebacker Roquan Smith said this offseason.

It will be the second straight season that the Ravens open the year with a road rematch against the foe that knocked them out of the playoffs. Last year, Baltimore started the season in Kansas City and came an Isaiah Likely toe away from at least tying the defending champions in the final seconds of a 27-20 loss.

It will also be another sizzling matchup between quarterbacks Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson after Allen surprisingly edged out Jackson in last year's MVP race, despite Jackson having superior stats and being named a first-team All-Pro.

Jackson and the Ravens won a September matchup against the Bills last season in convincing fashion, 35-10, at M&T Bank Stadium.

The Bills are celebrating their "Farewell Season" at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y., before they move into a new stadium across the street. The Ravens will look to spoil the kickoff party and take an early lead between two AFC title contenders.
