The 49ers have a quarterback controversy brewing after second-year quarterback Colin Kaepernick torched the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. With both teams battling key injuries, the Baltimore Ravens took down the Steelers 13-10 at Heinz Field on Sunday.  It was a classic AFC North showdown, which was defined by defense and gritty play by both teams. The Cleveland Browns fell victim to another disappointing loss, as they allowed a 13-point lead to go to waste in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Cincinnati Bengals won their second straight game on Sunday, taking down the ailing Chiefs 28-6 in Kansas City. The win improves the Bengals to 5-5 on the season, keeping alive their hopes of competing for a playoff spot for the second straight season. [Cincinnati Enquirer]

The New England Patriots showed that they are still a force to be reckoned with t in the AFC, as they shredded the Indianapolis Colts 59-24 in Foxboro. Tom Brady outdueled Andrew Luck, as the rookie has four turnovers in the loss. The win keeps New England atop the AFC East and right behind the Ravens in the conference standings. [SI.com]
