Marlon Humphrey Active, Ty Montgomery Inactive vs. Steelers

Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey is active for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after a two-game absence with a thigh injury.

Humphrey was questionable on Friday's injury report, but he returned to practice Thursday, which was a significant development for Baltimore's defense.

Baltimore will be facing the Steelers' dangerous passing attack led by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receivers Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Humphrey shadowed Brown for much of the Week 4 Ravens-Steelers game, limiting him to five catches for 62 yards and a touchdown during a 26-14 Baltimore victory.

Ravens inside linebacker C.J. Mosley is also active after being questionable on Friday's injury report. Mosley missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with a thigh injury and was a limited participant Friday.

Mosley struggled in pass coverage last week during a 36-17 loss to the Carolina Panthers. However, he is the Ravens' leading tackler, a three-time Pro Bowler and a defensive leader. If Mosley is close to 100 percent, having him on the field will be a boost to the Ravens defense in a game they need to win.

Running back Ty Montgomery is inactive five days after being acquired in a trade with the Green Bay Packers. It was thought Montgomery might see action, either as a kick returner or part of Baltimore's running back rotation. However, Gus Edwards remain the No. 3 running back Sunday behind Alex Collins and Javorius Allen.

Right guard Alex Lewis is active after missing two games with a neck injury, and is expected to return to a starting role. The Ravens will dress seven offensive linemen with Jermaine Elumanor expected to start at left tackle along with Lewis, center Matt Skura, right guard Marshal Yanda, and right tackle Orlando Brown Jr. Offensive linemen Bradley Bozeman and Hroniss Grasu are also available. The Ravens' offensive line will be without its two starting tackles in Ronnie Stanley (ankle) and James Hurst (back), who were ruled out Friday.

Also inactive for the Ravens are tight end Maxx Williams, outside linebacker Tim Williams (ankle), quarterback Robert Griffin III, wide receiver Jordan Lasley. The Ravens will dress three tight ends for the second straight week – Hayden Hurst, Mark Andrews, and Nick Boyle.

Inactive for the Steelers are starting right tackle Marcus Gilbert, quarterback Mason Rudolph, wide receiver Justin Hunter, safety Marcus Allen, cornerback Brian Allen, offensive tackle Zach Banner and defensive end L.T. Walton.
