The Ravens have added another wide receiver to an already tight training camp competition.

Baltimore signed third-year receiver Logan Payne, who spent last season with the New York Jets. Payne did not appear in any games with the Jets and ended the season on injured reserve after having wrist surgery.

To make room for Payne, the Ravens cut undrafted rookie fullback Jamison Berryhill.

Payne, 27, last appeared in a game in 2008 with the Seattle Seahawks. He started two games that season and caught three passes for 39 yards, but suffered a knee injury in the second game and ended the season on injured reserve.

The former undrafted free agent out of Minnesota entered the NFL in 2007 with Seattle. He has spent time on the practice squads for the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings.

In addition to competing at receiver, Payne will also likely have to perform well on special teams in order to make the roster. He will have to battle with Tandon Doss, LaQuan Williams, David Reed, Tommy Streeter and Deonte Thompson for a roster spot.
