The Ravens have pulled running back Gus Edwards up to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game in Nashville to provide depth behind Alex Collins and Javorius Allen.

Baltimore places running back De'Lance Turner (hamstring) on injured reserve to make room for Edwards.

Turner has been the Ravens' No. 3 running back this season and has seen some offensive reps, but he was ruled out against the Titans because of a hamstring injury.

The Ravens could have gone with just two running backs, but it's a risky proposition if one gets injured.

An undrafted rookie out of Rutgers, Edwards ran 53 times for 174 yards (3.3 per carry) and caught three passes for 34 yards in the preseason. He had a 25-yard run against the Los Angeles Rams in the team's second preseason game.

Standing in at 6-foot-1, 238 pounds, Edwards packs a punch as a runner.
