Pollard Listed As Probable

Bernard Pollard is listed as probable on the final injury report with a rib injury after being adamant throughout the week that he will play on Sunday.

"I'm ready to go," Pollard told reporters on Thursday. "Excited to be playing and that's all I can say."

Pollard sat out Wednesday's practice and was a limited participant on Thursday and a full participant Friday. He went down with the rib injury in the first quarter of last week's game against Philadelphia and did not return.

He told reporters that the pain has diminished this week and that he won't use the injury as any kind of excuse once he suits up.

"When I step out there, when my mind is made up that I'm going, I'm not going to hold anything back and I will not," Pollard said. "Nobody really cares once I'm in uniform, everybody expects plays to be made, they expect us to win."

Five Others Listed As Probable

In addition to Pollard, the Ravens also listed cornerback Lardarius Webb (knee), tackle Michael Oher (ankle), defensive end Pernell McPhee (knee), linebacker Jameel McClain (knee) and outside linebacker Paul Kruger (back) as probable.

All six of those players were full participants in Friday's practice, but Head Coach John Harbaugh was non-committal about their status when he met with reporters.

"We'll just have to see on all those guys," Harbaugh said. "They're all guys that could play, possibly. We'll just have to see. It really is we'll see how they feel on Sunday."

Kruger missed last week's game against the Eagles with a back injury that he suffered in the opener against Cincinnati. Kruger told Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun that he "had a good week" of practice, and he was a full participant Thursday and Friday.

McClain, Webb and McPhee all sat out of practice Wednesday, but were limited participants Thursday and full participants Friday. McClain told reporters on Thursday that "my knee is good," but he wouldn't get into details about his status for the game.

Oher said that he is "pretty healthy" after being a full participant Thursday and Friday.

Reid At Practice, Still Doubtful

Second-year offensive tackle Jah Reid was at practice on Friday for the first time this season, but he was still listed as a non-participant on the injury report. It's unlikely that he'll be suited up on Sunday, as he's listed as doubtful.

Reid has been battling a calf injury throughout the offseason, which held him out of practice for much of training camp and the preseason.

"Good to see Jah moving around," Harbaugh said. "I've learned that a calf takes a long time to heal. I was not aware of that, but he's getting back, he's getting close. It will be good to have him back."

"It felt great just being out there with the guys instead of being in the training room," Reid added. "You can do great things in there, but nothing is like playing football itself."

During training camp, Reid suffered a setback in the recovery process when he returned to practice, which has kept him out action until Friday.

"It was difficult," Reid said about the recovery process. "I thought I was back for sure, but then I had my setback. It's just made me more cautious in the long run. In the future, I'll be more careful and listen to what my body is telling me."

TE Hernandez Ruled Out

As expected, Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been ruled out of Sunday's game after suffering an ankle injury last week against Arizona. The Patriots signed veteran Kellen Winslow, Jr. to make up for Hernandez's absence.

Patriots backup defensive tackle Justin Francis has also been ruled out with an ankle injury.

New England, which always has a lengthy injury report, has 10 players listed as questionable. The list is wide receiver Brandon Llyod (thigh), running back Shane Vereen (foot), cornerbacks Sterling Moore (knee) and Alfonzo Dennard (hamstring), offensive linemen Dan Connolly (concussion), Logan Mankins (hip), Sebastian Vollmer (back) and Nick McDonald (shoulder), defensive end Brandon Deaderick (ankle), and tight end Daniel Dells (shin).
