2016 Ravens Mock Draft Monitor 5.0

11_FullDraftOrder_news.jpg

The Rams-Titans blockbuster trade has shaken up mock drafts, so it's time to check back in on who prognosticators believe the Ravens will take at No. 6.

With at least one top defensive talent almost assuredly available to the Ravens considering a quarterback is expected to go No. 1, many projections have moved away from Notre Dame left tackle Ronnie Stanley.

With that in mind, here's a look back at the picks in Mock Draft Monitor 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0.

Here are the latest predictions:

Daniel Jeremiah, NFL Media
Posted April 14
OT Laremy Tunsil, Ole Miss
Junior; 6-foot-5, 305 pounds
"Ozzie Newsome believes in taking the best available player, and Tunsil is the best player in the entire draft."

Lance Zierlein, NFL Media
Posted April 14
DE Joey Bosa, Ohio State
*Junior; 6-6, 275; 12 games, 35 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble
*"Bosa likely locked in a top-six draft slot, at worst, with his pro-day workout. He has the size to be moved around the as a rusher if the Ravens choose to do that. Quite frankly, this would be a tremendous fit for both parties."

Dane Brugler, CBSSports.com
Posted April 14
DE DeForest Buckner, Oregon
*Senior; 6-7, 300; 13 games, 83 tackles; 17 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, 1 fumble recovery
*"Defensive line isn't the top need on the depth chart, but the Ravens might not be able to pass on a talent like Buckner, who could be Baltimore's version of Calais Campbell."

Rob Rang, CBSSports.com

OT Laremy Tunsil, Ole Miss
"The biggest 'loser' in the Rams trade up to No. 1 could be Tunsil, who could slip out of the top five with many of the clubs selecting this high already boasting talented left tackles. General Manager Ozzie Newsome has made a career out of pouncing on talented players falling into his lap and that could continue with the gifted (but oft-injured) Tunsil, who possesses Pro Bowl caliber talent. The addition of Tunsil would give the Ravens options with incumbent starting left tackle Eugene Monroe, who has struggled with injuries himself, since being acquired from Jacksonville."

Pete Prisco, CBSSports.com
Posted April 14
DE DeForest Buckner, Oregon
"They end up with one of the best down players in this draft. This kid is a force against the run and he can rush the passer."

Will Brinson, CBSSports.com
Posted April 14
LB Myles Jack, UCLA
Junior; 6-1, 245; 3 games; 15 tackles, 0 sacks, 1 interception (season ended early by knee injury)
"Just Ozzie Newsome hanging out getting the best player available on his board. No big deal."

Matt Miller, Bleacher Report
Posted April 14
DE Joey Bosa, Ohio State
"Bosa sees a small draft-day fall but lands in an ideal situation with the Ravens, where he can play as a stand-up pass rusher and also bump down to defensive end in their hybrid defense."

Steve Palazzolo, Pro Football Focus
Posted April 14
LB Myles Jack, UCLA
"Bosa would have been a great fit, but with him off the board, the Ravens grab the best coverage linebacker in the draft and slot him into the middle of their defense to replace Daryl Smith."

Chris Burke, Sports Illustrated
Posted April 14
DE DeForest Buckner, Oregon

Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News
Posted April 14
OLB Joey Bosa, Ohio State
"The Ravens know they can't ignore edge rusher, with Terrell Suggs getting up there and also coming off another big injury. Bosa early in the process was deemed as a 4-3 end only. But in their 3-4 scheme, the Ravens will excel at putting him in great positions and situations to purely get after the passer as he develops the other aspects of being a full-time linebacker."

Nate Davis, USA Today
Posted April 14
(Proposed trade with New York Jets, move to No. 20)
OLB Leonard Floyd, Georgia
*Junior; 6-4, 231; 13 games, 72 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 3 passes defensed
*"Despite dropping into the middle of the round, Baltimore GM Ozzie Newsome still lands the impact player his defense needs while becoming better positioned to address other shortfalls. Floyd wouldn't need to start immediately, perhaps focusing his tremendous pass-rush skills on sub packages as a rookie. But given Terrell Suggs is coming off another Achilles' tear and will be 34 this season while fellow OLB Elvis Dumervil is 32, outside linebacker is clearly an area where the Ravens must get younger."

Kevin Fishbain, Pro Football Weekly
Posted April 14
LB Myles Jack, UCLA
"Perfect guy to rejuvenate the Ravens' tradition of great linebackers."

Eric Edholm, Yahoo! Sports
Posted April 14
DE Joey Bosa, Ohio State
"An incredible choice between Bosa and DeForest Buckner; Ozzie Newsome almost can't go wrong here. A good player awaits them. Bosa showed in drills that he can stand up and rush the passer."

Marc Lillibridge, 590 The Fan
Posted April 14
LB Myles Jack, UCLA
"Jack is a weapon who can play multiple positions. He can rush the passer, drop in coverage and tackle in space."

Mark Selig, The Baltimore Sun
Posted April 14
DE Joey Bosa, Ohio State
"The Ravens would have their choice of Bosa, DeForest Buckner or a dark horse pick (perhaps Vernon Hargreaves, Ronnie Stanley or Ezekiel Elliott). Bosa is the only pass rusher of the group, and the Ravens need to create more pressure on opposing QBs."

Michael Schottey, Forbes
Posted April 14
DE Joey Bosa, Ohio State
"The Ravens are not used to drafting up here, and somehow manage to get one of the year's most heralded prospects to fall into their lap? That's what we call institutionalized franchise excellence. Bosa slides in at outside linebacker for the Ravens with just enough athleticism to drop back in a pinch but the pass-rushing chops that they're not going to make him do so very often. Instead, he becomes the teeth to a Ravens defense that is drafting this high because they didn't have any last year."
