Baltimore, Md. (October 6, 2025) – The Baltimore Ravens, The Bisciotti Family Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore (BGCMB), Baltimore City Recreation & Parks, LEVEL82, and Green Street Academy today hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club at Hilton Recreation Center in West Baltimore. The project is only the third such collaboration in the nation between an NFL team and a Boys & Girls Club.
The celebration marked the culmination of a $20 million investment by the Ravens and The Bisciotti Family Foundation, in partnership with BGCMB and community stakeholders, to transform the Hilton Recreation Center into a state-of-the-art facility serving hundreds of youth and families.
The event featured remarks from community leaders and partners, including Jeff Breslin, President & CEO of BGCMB; Lorraine Orr, Executive Vice President & COO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America; Steve Bisciotti, Owner of the Baltimore Ravens; Sashi Brown, President of the Baltimore Ravens; Baltimore City Mayor Brandon Scott; and Maryland State Senator Antonio Hayes. Ashley Hill, Director of the new Ravens Boys & Girls Club, also welcomed guests and shared her vision for the Club's impact.
Following remarks, attendees joined in a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, tours of the newly renovated spaces, and a dedication ceremony honoring former Ravens President Dick Cass, who was surprised with the announcement that the Club's new multi-purpose athletic field has been named in his honor. The tribute, made by Steve Bisciotti and family, recognized Cass' longstanding leadership, community service, and commitment to Baltimore.
"This Club represents what's possible when community leaders, corporate partners, and local organizations come together for the greater good," said Jeff Breslin, President & CEO of BGCMB. "Thanks to the Ravens, the Bisciotti Family, and our partners, this facility will provide kids with a safe, supportive, and inspiring space to realize their full potential."
"The Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club will be an important and dynamic space, designed specifically not only to support but empower the bright and deserving youth of Baltimore," said Baltimore Ravens President Sashi Brown. "We are so thankful for the partnership and trust of the City and the incredible generosity of Steve and Renee."
The Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club at Hilton Recreation Center will provide academic support, mentoring, leadership development, health and wellness programs, and athletic opportunities for children and teens. The newly renovated facility includes:
- Dick Cass Field - A multi-purpose athletic field with sports lighting
- Under Armour gymnasium
- A teen center
- Activity and games spaces
- Tutoring spaces
- Indoor and outdoor community gathering areas
BGCMB will offer programs focused on health and well-being, academic success, character and leadership, and life and workforce readiness. In addition, BGCMB will coordinate with nonprofit partners to further expand services for youth and families.
"This Club represents the very best of what can happen when our city, local organizations, and private partners come together with a shared vision," said Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott. "The Ravens Boys & Girls Club at Hilton Recreation Center will be a game-changer for West Baltimore families – providing our young people with safe spaces, strong mentors, and the resources they need to grow into the leaders of tomorrow."
"The new Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club at Hilton Recreation Center will open the doors of opportunity for more children and families in West Baltimore. Today's opening was made possible by dedicated partners focused on giving our kids access to the support they need to succeed. It reflects the power of communities — from local leaders and organizations to the private sector — coming together for our young people, and I will continue to push for investments that build on this work in Baltimore," said Senator Chris Van Hollen.
The project builds upon earlier efforts by Torrey and Chanel Smith and their nonprofit LEVEL82, which previously reopened the Hilton Recreation Center in partnership with Baltimore City Recreation & Parks and Green Street Academy. With the support of the Ravens, BGCMB, and The Bisciotti Family Foundation, the vision has expanded into a flagship Boys & Girls Club designed to serve as a model for community impact.
