Baltimore Ravens to Launch Capologist LifeJourney

Baltimore, Md. (July 11, 2014) – The Baltimore Ravens announced Friday that they will unveil the Capologist LifeJourney for the youth of Baltimore on Wednesday, July 16. LifeJourney is an interactive classroom experience that enables students to live a day in the life of America's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) leaders and test-drive future careers.

Pat Moriarty, the Ravens' Senior Vice President of Football Administration, will lead the Capologist LifeJourney. This online career exploration will enable thousands of students to experience what goes on behind the scenes at Ravens headquarters as the front office works to build the best team at the best price. "I am honored to lead the Capologist LifeJourney and help students understand the role that math and finance can play in their future," Moriarty stated.

The Capologist LifeJourney will be unveiled at an event for Baltimore's education community, including teachers and students, on July 16 at 9:30 a.m. in the Enoch Pratt Central Library. Ravens executives will be in attendance to show their support for STEM education in Baltimore.

Dick Cass, President of the Baltimore Ravens, commented that, "Ravens football inspires our youth to become their best on the field; the Capologist will inspire our youth to become the best in the classroom. The business of football is an excellent teaching instrument, and we are pleased to partner with LifeJourney to help teachers connect what they teach in the classroom to the skills they will need in the real world."

"We are excited to have the Baltimore Ravens join other world-class organizations to bring real life experiences into the classroom," remarked Rick Geritz, Founder and CEO of LifeJourney. "Helping students discover their passion and become excited about education unifies teachers, parents and organizations around a common goal of creating the STEM generation."
