Dates Announced For Black Jersey Games

Break out the black jerseys this week.

The Ravens will wear their popular alternate jerseys for the first time this season in Sunday's matchup against the Browns. Baltimore will also wear the black uniforms for the Week 16 primetime game against the Steelers.

In addition to wearing the black uniforms Sunday, the Ravens will also wear pink gear as part of the NFL's efforts to support breast cancer awareness. This is the third-straight season the Ravens have donned the alternate jerseys with the pink gear for a home game in October.

"I think the pink looks good with the black jerseys," outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw said.

The black jerseys are a popular look for players and fans, and the Ravens typically play well in those threads. The team was 2-0 in the alternate uniforms last season, beating the Falcons and the Panthers.

Baltimore is 13-5 all–time in the black jerseys and 10-2 under Head Coach John Harbaugh.

NFL teams are allowed to wear their alternate jerseys twice during the regular season, and not during the playoffs.
