The Ravens crossed off another item from their offseason list on Monday.

Tight end Dennis Pitta was back in Baltimore Monday to sign his restricted free agent tender, guaranteeing he'll be with the Ravens for the 2013 season. Pitta's second-round tender is a one-year deal worth $2.023 million.

The fourth-year tight end can now join the team's voluntary offseason workouts.

The 2009 fourth-round pick is coming off the best season of his career where he caught 61 passes for 669 yards and seven touchdowns in the regular season. He then added 163 receiving yards and three touchdowns in the playoffs.

Over the last two seasons, Pitta has emerged as one of quarterback Joe Flacco's top targets as he has 101 receptions and 10 touchdowns during that time. Pitta is also a versatile target that could help offset the loss of top receiver Anquan Boldin by playing the slot position.
