Eugene Monroe, Chris Canty Out Against Browns

Both of the Ravens' starting offensive tackles are out against the Browns.

Right tackle Rick Wagner was placed on injured reserve last week, and now left tackle Eugene Monroe was scratched on Sunday. Monroe didn't practice all week due to an ankle injury.

That means undrafted rookie free agent James Hurst will get his fifth start of the year in place on Monroe. Pro Bowler Marshal Yanda is expected to start at right tackle, which would mean rookie John Urschel will step in at right guard.

Defensive end Chris Canty is also sitting against Cleveland. He didn't practice all week due to ankle and thigh injuries and was listed as questionable.

Canty has been playing especially well on the defensive line the past couple of games. His absence means more work for Lawrence Guy and DeAngelo Tyson.

Outside linebacker Terrell Suggs (back/thigh) was the other big question mark heading into the game, and he will suit up. Suggs didn't practice this week.

Running back Fitzgerald Toussaint, who was the only other questionable player, will also play.

Other than Monroe and Canty, the Ravens' other inactives are safety Brynden Trawick, cornerback Chris Greenwood, defensive end Steven Means, defensive tackle Terrence Cody and tight end Phillip Supernaw.

Wide receiver Michael Campanaro is active for the first time since Oct. 26, Week 8 against Cincinnati. He injured his hamstring in that game and had a longer-than-expected rehab, but was a healthy scratch the past couple of weeks.

The Ravens also activated some backup offensive linemen. Gino Gradkowski will suit up for the first time since Week 7 and Ryan Jensen is active for the first time in his career.

The Browns, who suspended wide receiver Josh Gordon and are without injured quarterbacks Johnny Manziel and Brian Hoyer, are surprisingly benching another one of their most talented players. First-round pick Justin Gilbert is a healthy scratch after reportedly being late to a team meeting.

Cleveland's other inactives are long snapper Charley Hughlett, offensive lineman Ryan Seymour, defensive lineman Ahtyba Rubin, offensive lineman Andrew McDonald and wide receiver Phil Bates.
