Fantasy Football Fix Week 13: Bank On Aiken, Allen For Fantasy Gold

The Fantasy Fix went one-for-three in Week 12, correctly predicting a big game from Javorius Allen (84 total yards, four receptions, touchdown) but whiffed on tight end Crockett Gillmore (four receptions, 20 yards) and the Baltimore defense (two touchdowns). Here are three players that should be on your radar heading into Week 13.
START: WR Kamar Aiken

No Joe Flacco, no problem for Kamar Aiken. The Ravens No.1 receiver produced for fantasy owners in Week 12 despite backup Matt Schaub's inconsistent day, reeling in six catches for 80 yards and a touchdown.

The Monday night showdown provided fantasy owners with the first look at the target breakdown under Schaub, and the numbers were a great sign for Aiken's value going forward. With a team-high 10 targets, Aiken was still the focal point of the Ravens' aerial game despite Flacco's absence.

Aiken finds himself with another appealing matchup in Week 13 against a Miami Dolphins team that has struggled in 2015. Miami has given up the  seventh most fantasy points to wide receivers this year, including five games of massive 20-plus fantasy-point efforts.

Aiken should continue to be a target monster on Sunday, and build on his impressive campaign since moving to the No. 1 option. Look for Kamar to set the bar for the Ravens offense and find the end zone again in Week 13.
Week 13 Prediction: Seven catches, 75 yards, touchdown = 17 fantasy points
START: Javorius 'Buck' Allen

In addition to getting a look at the target distribution under Schaub, fantasy owners also got a chance to check out the shiny new toy in the Ravens' backfield. In Javorius Allen's first start as a Raven, the rookie didn't disappoint, totaling 84 total yards and a touchdown.

The rookie showed good composure in primetime, and made several electric plays both between the tackles and in the passing game. With several more running backs lost to injury in Week 12 (Chris Johnson, Ahmad Bradshaw, Andre Ellington), replacement players like Allen can make or break a fantasy roster heading into the playoffs.

With only Terrance West challenging for carries in the backfield, Allen should once again get a lion's share of the work against a Dolphins defense that has been gashed by Chris Ivory and Darren McFadden over the past two weeks. Continue to cash in with 'Buck' in Week 13.

Week 13 Prediction: 70 rushing yards, touchdown, three receptions, 25 yards = 17 fantasy points
SIT: Crockett Gillmore

Gillmore was a hot pickup in Week 11, and rewarded savvy owners with a career day. However, the mammoth tight end faceplanted fantasy-wise in Week 12, finishing with an underwhelming three receptions for 20 yards.

Against a porous Browns defense and with a backup quarterback, Gillmore was expected to become a bigger focus in the passing game. However, with an inconsistent outing from Schaub and Aiken continuing to hog targets, Gillmore instead took a backseat in the offense.

With so many moving parts and inconsistencies in the Ravens offense, it's hard to put faith in Gillmore right now with fantasy playoff berths on the line. The 6-foot-6 target has all the tools, but needs to become a bigger part of the game plan before entering the tight end "circle of trust" in fantasy football.

Week 13 Prediction: four receptions, 35 yards = 5.5 fantasy points
