Friday Ravens Transcripts: Week 10 vs. Raiders

**Head Coach John Harbaugh

**

Opening statement:"I really don't have any major announcements or anything like that. [We] had a good practice – beautiful day. Everybody seems like they're in good spirits, including you guys. We're happy. We're excited to play. We are excited to play at home. We are looking forward to getting in front of our crowd. We are looking for an opportunity to prove ourselves and try to improve a little bit as a football team."

*How about ILB Ray [Lewis] being back and the pep talk he just gave? (Jerry Coleman) *"Yes, it was great to see Ray. All of sudden, I looked back and there was Ray Lewis. He's here. He's doing well. [He] gave a great talk. Probably wouldn't share the details of that, but I can tell you it was very inspiring, as always. It's good to have him back around."

Did the days off help Haloti [Ngata], Marshal [Yanda] and those guys kind of getting back and to be here on Friday? (Aaron Wilson) "Yes, they were out there today, so I do think it helped them. They got a little rest and got healed up a little bit."

I assume Ray Lewis was a complete surprise. You didn't know that he was coming back? (Ryan Mink) "I didn't know. I didn't know that. I was just walking to a drill there, and he came walking out. I was like, 'Hey! There's my friend.'"

*Did you tell [Paul] Kruger not to talk to [Tony] Bergstrom this week, or is it OK since they are related? *(Aaron Wilson) *"That's right. They're brother-in-laws. They won't be brother-in-lawing each other out there during the game, will they? They better not. *(laughter) They will be getting after it pretty good. The two brothers will be fighting. To be honest with you, I kind of forgot about that – didn't put that together. I'll have to talk to Paul about that here, see how he is doing."

How did Ray [Lewis] feel? (Jerry Coleman)"How did he feel? (Reporter: "Yes, how is his triceps doing?") *How did Ray feel? It would be hard to inject myself into Ray's feelings, so I'd probably not go there. (Reporter: "It was never asked, 'How are you feeling?'") *I'm probably just not going to comment on it really, in all seriousness. That's his thing. We are going to issue a statement on that. There is no way for us to know enough about how far along he is or how he's doing. We will just have to see how it goes here in all honesty and see how he does."

Being back home, playing in M&T Bank stadium, the only game in this month and then your back on in December, playing in front of the home crowd … (Bill West) "Yes, I'm really looking forward to that. It's going to be exciting to be back and be in the home stadium. And like you said, we won't be back for awhile again. It will be very meaningful. We are looking forward to it."
