Jesse Minter reportedly added another former college coach to his new staff in Outside Linebackers Coach Harland Bower, per CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz.
Bower has been with Duke since 2022 as an assistant who worked primarily with the team's defensive ends.
He mentored a pair of All-ACC defensive ends in 2025 in Vincent Anthony Jr. and Wesley Williams. Anthony Jr. led the Blue Devils in tackles for loss with 13 and sacks with 7.5.
Bower also spent a couple years with Ravens defensive tackle Aeneas "Fub" Peebles, who is clearly a fan.
Before landing at Duke, Bower coached for one season as a defensive analyst at Texas A&M, where he overlapped with Ravens Inside Linebackers Coach Tyler Santucci.
Bower also coached at South Alabama, Notre Dame, Central Arkansas, Troy, Rutgers, Murray State, and Georgia Military College, dating back to 2010.
Bower is the fifth coach Minter has reportedly hired from the college ranks, along with Pass Game Coordinator/Secondary Mike Mickens (Notre Dame), Defensive Line Coach Lou Esposito (Michigan), Safeties Coach P.J. Volker (Navy), and Assistant Defensive Backs Coach Miles Taylor (Nebraska).
The Ravens have young outside linebackers Tavius Robinson and Mike Green returning. Veteran Kyle Van Noy and David Ojabo are pending free agents.
Baltimore needs more pass rush production out of its front seven after posting just 30 sacks last season, tied for the third fewest in the league. The Ravens' outside linebackers collectively had 10.5 sacks.
Matt Robinson was the Ravens' outside linebackers coach last year, but he followed John Harbaugh to New York.
