Poll: Best WR Corps In Ravens History?

16_Poll_ReceivingCorp_news.jpg

The Ravens have set the table for an aerial assault in 2014.

General Manager Ozzie Newsome focused much of his offseason attention on upgrading the talent around quarterback Joe Flacco, and the Ravens suddenly appear to have a stacked group of pass catchers.

Torrey Smith is a budding NFL star and leader of the group after having the best season of his career in 2013. He now has five-time Pro Bowler Steve Smith, Sr. alongside him. Both receivers have their eyes set on 1,000-yard seasons, which would be the first time two pass catchers broke that milestone since the franchise's inaugural season in 1996.

The talent behind the two Smiths is also deep, as the Ravens re-signed big-play threat Jacoby Jones, and Marlon Brown showed loads of potential his rookie season. The tight end group also features a pair of quality receiving options in Dennis Pitta and recently acquired Pro Bowler Owen Daniels.

Adding Daniels and Smith, and re-signing Pitta and Jones, gives the Ravens a deep group of pass catchers that may even be the best in franchise history.

We won't know for sure until the 2014 season is in the books, but where do you think this year's unit will compare to some of the other Ravens receiving groups in the past? !
