The Ravens have decided to rest some of their starters for Sunday's regular-season finale in Cincinnati.

Linebackers Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, wide receiver Anquan Boldin, right guard Marshal Yanda and safety Bernard Pollard are all inactive. The other scratch is wide receiver Tandon Doss, who was been dealing with an ankle injury.

With the AFC North already wrapped up, the Ravens decided to give some of their key players a week of rest ahead of the playoffs.

"We have a number of guys who are banged up a little bit, and some of those guys will play and some of those guys won't," Head Coach John Harbaugh said Friday.  "We will go in there to win the game. We will have 46 guys active, and it will be the 46 best guys that are available to us – like always – and we will go play."

Ngata has been dealing with shoulder and knee injuries during the season, and the Ravens limited his practice time this week. Suggs has been playing through a biceps injury and Pollard has a chest injury that has now kept him out of three straight games.

Lewis is inactive after getting moved to the 53-man roster earlier this week from injured reserve-designated to return. He hasn't played since tearing his triceps in Week 6, and the Ravens are hoping to get him back for the playoffs.

Boldin suffered a shoulder bruise in last week's win over the Giants, but he was able to practice in a limited capacity this week. Yanda has an ankle problem that forced him to miss the Week 15 game against the Broncos, but he was able to play last week against the Giants.

While the Bengals are resting some starters, the Bengals are healthy and suiting up their starting lineup.

The inactives for the Bengals are cornerbacks Terence Newman, Jason Allen, wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher, safety George Iloka, defensive tackles Brandon Thompson and Devon Still and tight end Richard Quinn.
