The Ravens online team shop has undergone a major renovation.

The team has entered a new partnership with online retailer Fanatics, the industry leader for online licensed NFL products.

As part of the new agreement, fans will notice an improved shopping experience online (http://shop.baltimoreravens.com), including more competitive pricing, product assortment and lower shipping costs.

"There were really two things that we were hearing from fans: prices on key items were not necessarily competitive, and many products available on other sites, weren't available on ours," said Ravens Vice President of Ticket Sales and Operations Baker Koppelman. "That's what we were hoping to address.

"I think fans are going to see that the variety of products offered has increased our pricing is going to be noticeably lower than it had been in the past."

Fanatics, also the company behind NFLShop.com, has a much larger supply of products for fans to purchase.

The improved team store is already up and running, and fans are able to purchase Super Bowl XLVII gear and other memorabilia.

In addition to the online shop, the team shops inside M&T Bank Stadium are also going through a series of upgrades. The improvements will be unveiled later this year at the training camp stadium practice and during the first preseason game.

"The stores are going to have a whole new look," Koppelman said.  "Anybody who has been to our stores in the past is going to notice a dramatic difference in terms of the look of the stores and our ability to expedite their purchases.

"What we're really trying to provide is competitive pricing with what they might find with other retailers, while offering a wider selection of product."

Also, fans looking for a traditional retail environment can visit the Ravens Team Store located in the Sports Legends Museum in downtown Baltimore. The Ravens will continue the partnership with the museum and work to improve the selection and presentation of products inside that store.
